Herring Ministries does not focus on denominations but the bride of Christ as a whole, to bring the unsaved to salvation and healing to the sick and hurting. Herring Ministries is a chartered organization founded on October 28, 1994 by ordained minister Samuel Herring of the United States. Herring Ministries Intl. is an independent ministry but spiritually in partnership with Rain Ministries of Brooklyn Park, Minesota.
After 15 years of associate pastoring in the USA, the Lord spoke to Sam to surrender his home there to establish a crusade ministry based in Africa reaching out to all nations. His wife Sibongile is a native of South Africa and former staff minister with CFAN ministry headed by Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. Sam and Sibongile based their ministry in Swaziland for seven years until the Lord spoke to them to move to a more strategic location of Johannesburg, South Africa. Herring Ministries has reached out to a total of 12 nations of the world. Through this ministry souls have been saved, lives transformed and churches and communities in various nations never to be the same.
