“MISSION TRAINING CENTER”
Lomahasha is an area of the northern boarder of Swaziland that leads into Mozambique, about 55 miles
South of the capital city of Maputo. Sam and Sibongile pastored and developed Lomahasha Believers
Fellowship Church for three years in the 90’s.
Strategy-The strategy of developing Lomahasha area relates to first of all because Lomahasha is the
headquarters for witchcraft Satanism, and former war path of guns transported from Swaziland into Mozambique territory. This has left a tremendous spiritual stronghold that needs to be broken and spiritually redeveloped through the word of God.
We still feel the burden after several return visits to Swaziland that the work must grow in order for
The seed of the Word, already planted will not die but grow and impact nations.
During the civil war years in Mozambique this area was destroyed and left with an air of hopelessness.
It is also in a strategic area that could impact the spiritual nature of two countries from the heart of Swazi witchcraft to the capital city of Mozambique also near the Indian ocean where many villages
Are in serious need of sound Christian teaching in order to bring forth spiritual fruits for church
Planting. Many souls have been converted from witchcraft, but along with the church there we see the need to develop the area into a missions school to train short term missions. This work would be continued during Sam and Sibongile’s time of absence there by church leaders who
Are waiting for instructions and leadership in this particular project.

Ratanda; South Africa-”FEED THE CHILDREN Project”
Feed the Children is a project that was inspired in Sam and Sibongile’s hearts
Upon their invitation to conduct a funeral service of one of the teachers murdered
near Ratanda Elementary School outside of Heidelberg, South Africa. Such crime
Leaves many single mothers to raise children alone with only humble earnings
That cannot feed the children of that area enough. Many children come to this school
Hungry, and in their winter also cold and without socks. Teachers there have given out
of their small salaries to help many of them. But the need continues growing out of
Control . Aids is also an epidemic among the parents and children. The photo below is
Of Sam and Sibongile lighting the candle of hope at the International Aids Day Service.
This came shortly after Sam delivered a powerful message of the God given duty of man not to ignore the needs of others but embrace the world because what effects others indirectly will effect us. A candle was lit by Sam in memory of those who were victims of Aids in hope of a brighter tomorrow. (budget on following page)

OUTREACH MINISTRY-The outreach ministry of Herring Ministries International is probably the heart beat of all the ministry projects. It goes out into the fields of harvest to bring in souls for Jesus Christ and to serve as a witness to the saving and healing power of God to change lives. This is also the first step in the ministry reaching out to a certain region to establish churches and bless the people through the impacting spiritual power of the word of God to transform lives, neighborhoods, villages, towns, and countries. But in order to accomplish this task it takes a team both from the U.S. soil and local area of the meetings with the cooperation of pastors, churches, and the community leaders. Follow up of new Christians is essential for growth as we seek to work with establishing churches there as well as leading souls to already established churches in the community that believe according to Christian doctrine. Cost for these meetings will vary, depending upon the conditions of the area whether the use of a stadium, building, tent, or open air meetings. Music will be provided by the local churches. Below is a budget plan for the outreach ministry.

Along with the Outreach meetings in these Southern African countries; one area that really touches the heart of Sam and Sibongile are the squatter camps of Soweto and surrounding areas. Many missionaries are afraid to go within the local areas of Soweto to reach the masses. About 80% percent of all South African crime is committed in the squatter camps where poverty is at its height. Many of these squatter camps are due to the tribal wars where millions of innocent people suffered when their homes where destroyed through fires, many killed and the fury of poverty still exist. Sibongiles grandmother was one of those who lost their homes in the attacks. So The Herring’s are also anxious to reach some areas that they were not able to reach before.

A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR………
Dear Partner,
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. You know, I would like to ask what do you delight in. The Webster’s dictionary defines Delight as
happiness and may refer to someone or something that brings such a state of excitement, such as good-tasting food. When I think of the word delight, I think of something that brings me so much excitement that I can not help but think about it all the time. A good example would be a delightful ice cream Sunday with chocolate syrup, nuts and a bright red cherry on top. Am I making you hungry? Well, when you think of that Sunday or see a photo of it, you automatically began to desire it and though you have not yet tasted it with your mouth, your mind is almost fooled into believing you already have.
I believe that is the way we should feel about Jesus Christ and what delights Him. SOULS. When he looks at souls, he sees himself whether they are saved or not. He sees what his Father intended for them to be.
When I first sat in a worship service in 1994 upon my first missionary trip to Africa God did something to my heart, a second operation on it since my first one as a newly converted Christian in April of 1963.I felt in that worship a hunger and a thirst to labor in His fields.
It's like someone took their hand and reached into my gut and did an operation. You feel that yearning down deep in side.
"Whatever God calls you to do, no matter how difficult it seems or impossible or hard, he gives you a burden, a good burden, a desire to do that work.
It is with tremendous delight that I share with you mine and Sibongile’s vision revealed to us from the very heart of God. And may you come to delight, hunger and thirst after righteousness, because the word promises that you will indeed be filled.
Rev. Samuel H. Herring
